An interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, The Journal of HBCU Research + Culture (HBCUR+C) is always looking for submissions that showcase Historically Black College and University-themed research and culture. We welcome manuscripts from academicians and theorists relating to all aspects of the nation’s HBCUs. Essays should be no more than 30 typed, double-spaced pages (12-point Times New Roman font), including endnotes. The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th Edition (Chicago, 2010) should be used for citations. All works must not have been previously published.
The deadline for submissions for the spring 2016 issue will appear on the HBCUR+C website at http://www.hbcujournal.org following the Third Annual HBCUstory Symposium in October 2015.
