HBCUstory Symposium 2015 | Schedule of Events

HBCUstory Symposium 2015 will proudly feature 30+ presidents, educational and nonprofit administrators, faculty, alumni and student-presenters — representing 24 colleges, including 18 of the nation’s HBCUs! Sessions include topics ranging from history, student choice, board governance, sports, mentorship, partnerships and alumni fundraising as well as panels by the UNCF, NIH, and environmental justice experts.

This year’s convening honors Meharry Medical College’s Dr. Henry Moses + HBCU Digest Founder Jarrett L. Carter Sr. and introduces our first-ever Presidential Roundtable featuring Meharry Medical College President James E.K. Hildreth, St. Mary’s College of Maryland President Tuajuanda Jordan + Fisk University Interim President Frank L. Sims, host.

The awards and roundtable sessions will be held in the Fisk Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 9th beginning at 9:45 am and are free + open to the public. Registration is not required for these two public sessions.
